Can’t believe I am halfway through my challenge already!
I have been doing really great. I am getting in all my workouts, staying on track with my meal prepping and what I am really happy with is that I am EATING what I am making.
I know I know. Probably asking what do I mean. Well, I have had a big problem with meal prepping then not eating what I make. Or maybe I will eat a couple (meal prepped) meals for a couple days then go out to eat lunch and dinner somewhere else. Not only am I wasting my food AND my money, I am damaging all my hard work of working out! Always remember that you could be working out every single day for an hr every day but if you are eating shitty, your progress is not going to go anywhere. Trust me, this is coming from someone who has been there and bought the shirt! Eating unhealthy and working out doesn’t go together. So I came back to reality and got back on track!
What I have learned is there is nothing wrong with messing up. We all make mistakes. As long as we LEARN from our mistakes, grow from them and get back on track!
I have been doing a lot of Strength Training with Beachbody’s program Chalene Xtreme. I know I said in my previous post Canceled Beachbody, Joined A Bootcamp that I wasn’t doing Beachbody programs any longer. Let me clarify. I canceled my Coach membership and no longer will be using their supplements. But they do have AMAZING programs that I have purchased while being a Coach and will continue to use at home. I am not comfortable lifting weights in the gym, so being in the comfort of my home is ideal for me.
Chalene Xtreme is an AMAZING program for beginners or intermediate. I am having great progress in my squats, lunges and weight lifting!
I am also still in the LA Fitness gym doing classes (Zumba and Strength Training) and also walking!
I haven’t weighed myself. I am waiting until the very end for that!
My challenge ends on June 23 right before I go on my trip and I’m excited to see results. I am definitely going to go harder and hoping to get in two workouts a day twice a week!
