90 Day Challenge

I haven’t been on a vacation in 5-6yrs. I honestly lost count. BUT, my girlfriends and I are going on a Girls Trip in June! I didn’t care WHERE I went. I just wanted to be on someone’s beach, half naked with drinks in both hands! 🙂

We decided on Daytona Beach!

Being that I will not be in much clothing for 4 days, I wanted to look gooooooood. And in order to look gooooooood, I have to lose some weight! Hence, why I am on a weight loss journey to being with! lol

Anyhoo, today marks 90 days before we leave and I decided I am going to put myself on a very strict 90 Day Challenge. No Vegan junk food, no pop, no sweets … just healthy food and exercising 6 days a week and I am going to try to get in some double work out as well twice a week! Seems extreme? GOOD! Because that’s my point!

During this 90 Day Challenge, my goal is to lose between 20-30 lbs. And I know … the #1 Rule in making weight loss goals is being realistic. I know I am not going to lose 30 but, I know I can lose 20 lbs. Why? Because I did it before. When I stuck to my goals, stayed consistent by working out to 21 Day Fix Extreme every single day, eating healthy, and remembering why I started … Yes, 20 lbs were gone very fast and this was in a 2 month period. I was eating 6 times (3 meals and 3 snacks) a day, not feeling deprived or sick. So I know I can do this!

My workouts will consist of the following:

  • Piyo
  • Zumba
  • Walking
  • Water Aerobics

Yes, I will be switching it up so I will not get bored and keep up my momentum.

I did weigh myself this morning and was shocked at what I found. I gained weight. A lot of weight. 6lbs over WHAT WAS my HIGHEST weight ever! I just couldn’t believe it. I got off and on the scale TWICE! I was shocked, disappointed, embarrassed,  frustrated … all at once.

Even through all 4 emotions, I could not blame anyone but myself. I haven’t worked out in almost 2 weeks because of knee issues, I have been eating crazy Vegan junk food and CHEESE … yes, REAL CHEESE! And I have not been eating my meals I have been meal prepping for myself. Excuses. These are all nothing but Doomed For Disaster strategies!

Not only do I need this challenge to look good in a bathing suit, but I need this to get back on track with my goals and, most importantly, to remember why I started!

Its going to be hard and there are going to be times when I want to quit. But I won’t. I am going to keep pushing every single day, every workout, every time I want to quit, every sore ache.

90 days.
